Bentley Priory project – update #1 10th October 2026

A small hexagonal building with timy windows that have been bricked in leaving tiny slits. Two corners at the top have been repaired with grey bricks.
We have begun the repair of the World War II pillbox. Image taken 10th October 2026. The two front corners have been repaired using similar concrete bricks to those originally used. They look very white now but they will weather! The red bricks in the gun ports, put in by Harrow Council, are to make it a warm place for bats to roost. One of the slits for bats to enter can be seen in the right hand port.
